Team #1, also comprised of both Juniors/Intermediates, Placed 5th. Team members are Clay Anderson , Myla Greer (both with Cloverleaf 4-H Club), and Kaylie Arnwine (Footbridge 4-H Club)

This was the first year for the Food Challenge to be a competition in the District Food and Nutrition Show. The contest is modeled after competitions on the Food Network’s “Iron
Chef”. It challenges teams of 4-H members to create a dish using only predetermined number of ingredients. From these ingredients, team members must identify & prepare the dish, then make a presentation to the judges.

The presentation will include information about the
serving size, nutritional value & cost of the dish. The 4-H Food Challenge allows members to demonstrate culinary and food safety skills to judges & observers. All of the teams represented Cherokee County well, and we are very proud of them. :-)
